Your writing is really relaxing to read, you know that?  I&#039;ve just come back after a long absence and am reminded of that.

Anyway, yes, biking is a great metaphor for writing.  And for a variety of other non-analyzable tasks.  When I was learning to ride a bike back in my single digits, I remember saying: &quot;Can&#039;t I learn to balance first and THEN learn to pedal?&quot;
