I attended the September potluck last night and had a lovely time. I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful post on the garden, especially the video of John Carroll. I didn't know much about the history of the garden, and I now am so excited to find out more. It seems he was an amazing man, and very inspiring. So much of the story of a place is wrapped up in the stories of people. You have a great project in your hands! My husband and I live on Brookley Road - I hope to see you around the neighborhood some time! Despite my shyness, I am trying to dig a little deeper into the neighborhood, so if you would like to email me some time and share more about what your are doing, please feel free!
